The aerial hammock or sling used in aerial yoga is specially designed to bear body weight and provide stable support. During aerial yoga practice, the hammock or sling provides additional support and balance, making many poses easier to execute while allowing for deep muscle stretching and core strengthening with reduced pressure on the joints. Additionally, aerial yoga classes typically include a series of safety techniques and guidance to ensure the safety and comfort of participants. People find aerial yoga to be a relaxing and balancing practice that enhances flexibility and strength. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students can enjoy this unique yoga experience safely, without concerns of injury or discomfort.

  • What is the difference between Aerial Yoga/Pilates and Aerial Dance?
Aerial yoga/Pilates evolved from physical therapy and meditation in aerial hammocks. After development, there are many posture changes, adding yoga and Pilates exercises, but they are all completed in a two-point hammock. The current aerial yoga/Pilates system also includes dance elements and is also an aerial dance rhythm. The aerial dance rhythm we practice is mainly single-point hammock practice. Its initial prototype came from acrobatic performances, so many of the first practitioners of aerial dance were acrobats and dancers. Our aerial dance rhythm system is more complete and will be taught from the beginning, making it more suitable for ordinary practitioners. For ordinary practitioners, aerial yoga/Pilates practice is relatively stable, with more variety of postures, more physical therapy and relaxation meditation, and advanced vinyasa is also very good for physical fitness, and has Lots of unfolding hammocks making an appearance. Single-point aerial dance requires stronger body control and higher joint flexibility, especially the hips. The force exerted when controlling the rope and the expansion of the body are much different from those of double-point. Starting is very important, acceleration and deceleration are controlled by the body. The mental and physical demands are higher.
